French Event: Jura Wines with Martine Coutier.

Attention Wine Lovers and Francophiles!
On Friday, March 28 at 8pm, Ecco Italy and Verity blue will be hosting a special Virginia Festival of the Book event. Martine Coutier, author of the Dictionnaire de la langue du Vin and native of our Sister City, Besançon, will discuss the prized wines of the Jura region, in eastern France. We will have the opportunity to taste several Jura wines, hunted down and provided by Market Street Wineshop.
The event is free, but there will be a charge for the (optional) wine tasting ($7.50 for 3 half-glasses or $5 glass).
Check out the March issue of Gourmet Magazine for an article on Jura food and wine, and read this recent NY Times article on Jura.
